A Little Of This And A Little Of That

The other day I was talking to my wife when a talking head from a news network started speaking. He was talking about the moon-shot NASA made and what was in store for the future. He started by saying the ‘new’ director of NASA nixed what they were going to do to put a human on the moon again but was, instead, going to delay a year for SpaceX to get things together and use that.

My wife did not understand why I disapproved of that idea and looked disgusted. I had to explain it to her slowly so that she would understand. First, Musk is owner of SpaceX and is the richest man, that I know of, on earth. Musk and Trump are hand in hand on all sorts of things. Saying that means both are for making as much money as possible on everyone else’s dime. Second, the talking head mentioned the ‘new’ head of NASA. Who he was talking about was a Trump appointee after firing the very productive head of NASA. Third, SpaceX has had problems and one of them is exploding on the launch pad. Sure, they have made a few good launches, but one failure is one too many.

If I was an astronaut, I would not want to put my life on the line and fly SpaceX. (smile) I’ll fly American. He’s South African (smile) No laughing matter, but that is exactly what any astronaut will do by flying SpaceX. It is not right to disregard everything over friendship and money. Even when Musk flew people to space, there was the amount of money it cost each person that went on the flight. That is what most conflicts and other things amount to. Oil and/or money.

Since this administration took office, everything has gone sideways. Since this administration took office, their bottom line is to make as much money for themselves as possible. Since this administration took office, you cannot believe anything anybody says or write. Since this administration took office law and order is not law and order. Since this administration took office lying is the norm.

Moving on, while keeping lying on the front burner, I’ll move to the redistricting vote that Virginia passed. Republicans are hollering ‘FOUL’ because it does great harm to them. They seem to forget the President started this by saying he need five seats and wanted the Republican governors to redraw their district voting lines. It was not put to a vote by the people of the state; it was just done as he wanted. Virginia put it to a vote by the people of the state of Virginia and the Democrats won and can redraw the map the way they want it, depriving the Republicans five seats. The Trump appointed judge stopped the redrawing of the map and it is now up to the state Supreme Court to say it was legally done and the map can be redrawn. I’ll just have to wait and see what happens. This was one of the rare times people had a say in what they wanted for the state.

I can not wait for the midterm voting. It should be interesting and a lot of bloodletting. If the democrats can pull it off, maybe the enrichment (stealing much of the people’s money) can be stopped, and people can be held accountable. I’m not holding my breath, but the USA is out of money and deeper in debt than ever before. Everywhere you look, someone from the present administration has taken a few million dollars and the people are starving. I hope the midterms can turn this around. God help us.

Time Is Relative

Last week in my other blog, www.faithingodministries.net, I mentioned ‘time’ and what it meant to God compared to what it means to us. I am not an expert in that sort of thing nor am I or have I been a scholar in that. I only know what I feel, have read, and can imagine. What I am about to write does not construe whether it is true or untrue and is only a very small piece about time. It is only for you to think and decide for yourself.

Einstein wrote on ‘relative time’, where he determined that time is relative. In other words, the rate at which time passes depends on your frame of reference. Ahhh, what is meant by that? (My words) things will be perceived differently if sensed in different ways or by different people.

This phenomenon was experimented with by using clocks. In the lab’s experiment they used a light clock and an atomic clock, the most accurate clocks known. It was found that the faster the clock moved the slower the clock got. One of the examples used was an atomic clock that was stationary on earth, and another was flown in a plane around the earth. When the clocks were together again, they were a fraction of a second apart from each other.

What made me think of this was last week I wrote that in God’s time a thousand solar years is one solar day to us. Okay, let me think about what has been happening for a long time here on earth and what has been in the news lately. UFOs. If they come from another planet think about the speed used to get here and what about the time it took. Did time stop?  Did time speed up? Did time go back? It all is confusing yet a wonder at the same time.

NASA want to send man to Mars and other planets. What will the timing be because (to us) the time spent in space getting there is very long. Then think about a light year which is one solar year or 5.88 trillion miles. My mind is numb when they say a star is close with it being four or five light years away and we want to go to that solar system. To me, impossible, but throw in ‘time’ and that would be the unknown variable that could make it possible. On earth we could see the space capsule slowly traveling to the far away star. To the people in the capsule, it could be a very short time when ‘time is relative’ is added to the equation. Is this how the UFOs get here? Worm holes? Space warp? Talking about UFOs is another future blog.

Last week, what I wrote in www.faithingodministries.net, shows that most of this article melds with that article and vice versa. We point up because Christ rose into the clouds when He left earth. Also, the universe is huge and, from what I have read, is still expanding. How far is it to the end of the universe? Time is relative and time is not on our side. If time is relative, then our present life is not even a flicker, and we better get right quickly and that may not be fast enough. Now I’ll sit back and see the very few commits that I rarely receive.
